Alibaba has released Quark AI glasses, entering the AI glasses market with the Qianwen large model and the Alibaba ecosystem
On November 27th, Alibaba officially launched its first self-developed quark AI glasses, introducing six individual products in two series, S1 and G1. Among them, the S1 series is equipped with dual flagship chips, adopts dual optical engine dual-eye display, and supports 0.6-second ultra-fast snapshot and 3K video recording. The G1 series focuses on fashion and portability, weighing approximately 40 grams. Its hardware configuration is basically the same as that of the S1, except for the display function. These six products are all equipped with Alibaba Qianwen AI Assistant and deeply integrated with core scenarios of the Alibaba ecosystem such as Alipay and Autonavi Maps, enabling convenient operations throughout the entire process including navigation, payment, and shopping. Previously, Baidu's Dueros AI Glasses Pro had already started pre-sales. Overseas giant Meta also launched its first AR glasses in September. Domestic enterprises such as letv Innovation have also been continuously increasing their investment in the AR display field. According to IDC data, the global smart glasses market shipped 4.065 million units in the first half of 2025, a year-on-year increase of 64.2%. Meanwhile, the B-end applications of AI glasses are also expanding. For instance, Rokid AI glasses have been used in industrial scenarios such as power inspection. The industry is moving from concept validation to the critical point of large-scale commercialization.
